Our particular strength is fine-gauge development at 14G, 16G and 18G, with refined structures and precise detailing. We consider yarn, stitch density and shaping together to develop the desired drape, hand feel and silhouette.

Fully fashioned construction brings shape into the knitted panels, with attention to the way shoulders, sleeves and edges come together.

Hand knitting, hand crochet, hand beading and hand embroidery add texture and detail to knitwear. Speciality and intricate embroidery can bring together different stitches, threads and embellishments. We consider placement, weight, attachment and finishing alongside the knitted base.

Stitch combinations, washing, brushing and finishing can change the character of a yarn. We explore the relationship between surface, weight and handle through material tests and sample review.

Printing and dyeing add further possibilities for colour and surface design. We review the technique against the yarn, knitted structure and intended finish through sampling.

Bring different
elements together.

Knit can be developed alongside woven fabric, lace, tweed and specialist trims. We review how materials meet, how they move together and what their different weights mean for the finished garment.

Lace inserts and machine-sewn fabric panels can be combined with knitted sections. We resolve seams, proportion and finishing through sampling, considering stretch, drape and the way each material behaves.
